- NLP Approach for discrimination prevention in data mining
Praful Bundele and Lalit Dole,GHRCE nagpur,India
ABSTRACT
Data mining is an increasingly important technology for extracting useful knowledge that is hidden in large collections of data. There are however negative social realization about data mining, which consist of mainly potential privacy incursion and potential discrimination. Discrimination consist of unfairly treating people on the basis of belonging to specific group. Now a days for taking automated decisions automated data collection and data mining techniques are used like loan granting/denial, insurance premium calculations, etc. If the training data sets which we are using, are biased in what regards discriminatory attributes like gender, age, religion, nationality etc., discriminatory decisions may occur. For this reason, anti discrimination techniques such as discrimination discovery and discrimination prevention have been introduced in data mining. Discrimination can be of two types, Direct or Indirect. Direct description is based on sensitive attributes. While on the other hand Indirect discrimination occurs when decisions are based on non sensitive attributes which are co related to sensitive attributes. In this paper we tackle discrimination prevention in data mining and propose new techniques applicable for direct or indirect discrimination prevention individually or both at the same time. For this we use Natural Language Processing approach.
- Securing Reprogramming Protocols in Wireless Sensor Network
Minal Narad and Archana Raut,G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering,India
ABSTRACT
Many interesting protocols have been proposed in recent years and there has been a lot of research done focusing on secure reprogramming. However all of the protocols are based on the centralized approach. Alternatively, keeping in mind the security and efficiency of distributed reprogramming in wireless sensor nodes from previous research, we planned to work on a distributed approach and decided to integrate two protocols algorithm, naming improved SDRP and a Rateless Deluge in WSN leading to improve reprogramming protocols security and efficiency using AES and DWT technology. This research may also support user privacy preservation in Distributed Reprogramming.
- Web Accessibility Evaluation of e-Government website in Saudi Arabia
Ahlam J.Al-Khiebari and Khalid Nafjan, king saud university - collge of computer science,Saudi Arabia
ABSTRACT
This paper presents the results of a new accessibility study carried out in 2013 based on a sample of Saudi e-government websites. The main objective of this study is to investigate the accessibility of Saudi e-government websites with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2 (WCAG 2.0), conformance level A by using automatic evaluation tools. It aims to address problems of accessibility experienced by people with disabilities in Saudi Arabia while using e-government websites. It also aims to get a view on the degree to which the web accessibility is maintained over time in Saudi Arabia. This could be obtained by comparing the evaluation results with earlier study and analyze the progress in web accessibility. The analysis of results reveals that none of Saudi e-government sample's websites passed the lowest level of WCAG2. No indications for web accessibility progress was noticed as regarded the sample evaluated in 2010 study.
- Optimization Of The Isues In The Migration From Android Native To Hybrid App
Heena Ahuja ,Rahul Johari and Srn Reddy,GGSIP UNIVERSITY,India
ABSTRACT
Student's Portal app provides a portal wherein students can go and check the relevant
information or updates about their curricular activities, uploaded by the authenticated
authority, which has the write access on this app. Student's Portal app was an android app
earlier. But Considering, the growing trend of HTML5[1] and its wide acceptance by the end
users in the market because of its cross-platform support and enriched/fluidic/responsive UI[2]
layouts, we decided to migrate, our existing application from android native app to hybrid app.
